Voyage 22 has a special heated mash bill. This voyage spent nine years traveling around the world, starting from Savannah to Manzanillo, then a stormy trip on the Pacific to Australia. With fluctuating climate conditions, the ship made it to Shanghai and made it to Tacoma, Washington. Re-entering the Caribbean at the end of a storm season was their start for a European trip through Baltimore. Storms made them turn to Africa and then back to Baltimore under cold and stormy conditions. After staying in Baltimore for 5 days, Voyage 22 made it back to Savannah!

Nose: The aroma is of oak, orange zest, & caramel
Palate: The flavor profile is soft with honey, salted caramel, black pepper, cinnamon, marshmallow. As time goes, cherries, tobacco appears with oak spices.
Finish: The finish is medium to long with a touch of beechwood, white peppers, bitter carob, and cocoa..
Distillery Information
Founded in 1997, Jefferson’s is the brainchild of Trey Zoeller and his father Chet, a famed bourbon historian. They were continuing a family tradition that goes back to Trey’s 8th generation grandmother who was arrested in 1799 for the “production and sales of spirituous liquors.” To personify the brand, they chose Thomas Jefferson—known for his curiosity and experimental spirit. This is a mindset to which Trey has dedicated himself, pushing the boundaries of the definition of bourbon. Upholding tradition, yet always discovering new possibilities.
