Detailed DescriptionDiageo re-entered the growing Irish Whiskey category early 2017 by releasing Roe & Co, a blended Irish whiskey made from grain and malt whiskeys. Roe & Co Irish Whiskey matured in bourbon casks, a great proportion of which were first-fill barrels. Bottled at 45% ABV without chill-filtration.Roe & Co Blended Irish Whiskey Tasting NotesNose: Spice and vanilla: custard tarts dusted with grated nutmeg. Lemon zest follows with fresh fruit – sweet pear, fruit gums, peach and pineapple cubes.Palate: Creamy vanilla before fruit – pear and apple, sour lemon, unripe mangoes and gummi fruit. Spice builds, bringing biscuity and Ryvita notes. Creamy apple and pear sit underneath everything.
