This release is limited to only 1,000 bottles and is an expression of their commitment to provide only the finest Irish whiskey and honor the craft and dedication of their forefathers. This sumptuous single malt is non-chill-filtered to retain the unique characteristics of the carefully selected casks.Egan’s Legacy Reserve 15 Year Old Irish Single Malt Whiskey Tasting NotesNose: An unmistakable Irish Single Malt nose. Creamy with notes of apple and citrus. Toffee and vanilla add complexity.Palate: Full bodied as one would expect from a Single Malt of this age. Lemon peel and pepper with some oak dryness.Finish: Big finish and what appears to be an endless aftertaste.Distillery InformationEgan Distillery will be situated in Tullamore Co Offall. The founders established their firm P & H Egan Ltd. on Bridge Street in the heart of Tullamore. They engaged in wholeselling, bottling, malting and brewing activities. Egan‘s were bottling Jameson & Paddy Whiskeys in the 1940s. The firm went into voluntary liquidation in 1968. Jonathan Egan and John Ralph of the 5th and 6th generation of the Egan family revived the company P.&H. Egan.
