Teeling Whiskey Company has announced the release of some of the oldest Irish single malt in the world: The Teeling 34-Year-Old Vintage Reserve Single Malt. “We are extremely proud to be able to release some of the oldest ever bottlings of Irish single malt in partnership with Bacardi in the U.S., which is now the largest market in the world for Irish whiskey,” says Jack Teeling, founder of the Teeling Whiskey Company. “This bottling is reflective of our goal to help drive diversity in Irish whiskey by introducing interesting and unique super premium bottlings.”
Teeling Vintage Reserve 34 Year Old Single Malt Irish Whiskey Tasting Notes
Nose: Nose has notes of butterscotch, vanilla, caramel, dried flowers, and a hint of lemon zest.
Palate: The taste starts off creamy at first, then turns spicy with notes of clove, cinnamon, ginger, a touch of vanilla, licorice, and a hint of caramel in the background.
Finish: The finish has lingering spices with a subtle fruity touch of green apples and a hint of backyard herbs.
Distillery Information
Teeling Distillery is an Irish whiskey distillery established in Dublin in 2015. It is the first new whiskey distillery to have opened in Dublin, once a world whiskey distilling capital, in over 125 years.
