Detailed DescriptionAged for a minimum of 28 years in a combination of ex-bourbon barrels, an oloroso sherry butt and a ruby port seasoned cask, these exceptional liquids were then married in the ruby port cask to mature further as a single Dream Cask. Redbreast Dream Cask 4 Ruby Port Edition Irish Whiskey Tasting NotesNose: Cigar box, vanilla, raisin, sultana, cinnamon and nutmeg with almond butter and red pepper. Water releases linseed oil rubbed leather.Palate: Rich raisin and sultana fruit are balanced by dry oak tannins with assertive cinnamon, nutmeg and black pepper spice. Pleasing dark chocolate and plum notes are amplified with water.Finish: Long. It is owned by Irish Distillers, a subsidiary of Pernod Ricard.
