From Old St Andrews distillery, London 40 gin is made to the same recipe as Pink 47, though – the clue’s in the name – with a reduced alcohol content of 40% ABV. Garnish this zesty gin with a good old wedge of lime.

Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.
Palate: A splendid taste with a warm feel to it. Not to smoky but silky smooth.
