Detailed Description
Arrogante tequilas are a new line of premium spirit offered by what they describe as a family distillery with agave harvested in the highlands of Jalisco. They claim it is “designed for sipping” and that they are “so proud of the quality” that they called it Arrogante. According to a write-up in the September, 2011 review of The Tasting Panel Magazine, Marina Wilson of importer Double Eagle Imports explains that the tequila is cooked in hornos clay ovens for 72 to 96 hours as opposed to stainless steel autoclaves; further, they use their own non-commercial yeast for fermentation.
