Detailed Description
High-quality Dominican rum from the Brugal range, which is double distilled then matured in American oak barrels. After a lengthy maturation is the aforementioned barrels, the rum then enjoys a second maturation in Spanish oak sherry casks, helping to accentuate the rich fruity sweetness of the spirit.
Brugal 1888 Rum Tasting Notes
Nose: Aroma of milk chocolate, roasted coffee and dried apricots.
Palate: Notes of lush cherries, raisins, cinnamon, strawberries, caramelized apples and candied oranges.
Finish: Long, toffeed finish.

Brugal is the name and brand of a variety of rums from the Dominican Republic produced by Brugal & Co., C. por A. Brugal and the other Dominican rums, Barceló and Bermúdez, are collectively known as the three B’s. Brugal has three distilleries, one in Puerto Plata and two in San Pedro de Macorís.
