Signatory’s single malts come in a wonderful, heavy glass decanter and are individually numbered. This exciting Bruichladdich from the legendary island of Islay was stored in a former refill sherry butt for the entire maturation period. The beautiful amber tone provides information about the maturity of the whiskey and is of course not treated afterwards. This high-quality, extremely old single malt was bottled at natural cask strength with 52.1% volume and was not chill-filtered so that it retained all of its natural oils.

A 1990 Bruichladdich single malt from indie bottler Signatory Vintage, matured in a single refill sherry butt for almost three decades, before being bottled in March 2020 as part of its Cask Strength Collection.

Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.
Palate: Lovely, mild on the tongue with a slight burn at the end.

Bruichladdich Distillery is a distillery on the Rhinns of the isle of Islay in Scotland. The distillery produces mainly single malt Scotch whisky, but has also offered artisanal gin. It is owned by Rémy Cointreau and is one of eight working distilleries on the island.
