Detailed DescriptionBatch number four of Dingle Irish whiskey is here! Produced over in south-west Ireland, the single malt has been drawn from a combination of bourbon, sherry and Port casks. The marriage of casks is a harmonious one, with generous helpings of dried fruit and vanilla. Just 2,000 bottles of this whiskey were produced.Dingle Distillery Batch No.4 Single Malt Irish Whiskey Tasting NotesNose: A creamy mixture of chocolate and vanilla alongside sherried dried fruit and toffee.Palate: A distinct winey note, with more vanilla, oak, dried apricot and sultanas with a good helping of malt.Finish: Gingersnap biscuits, dark chocolate and a hint of refreshing citrus.Distillery InformationDingle Distillery is an Irish whiskey distillery established in 2012 and billing itself as an ‘artisan’ distillery. The distillery is located in a converted sawmill in Milltown on the outskirts of Dingle, in a Gaeltacht (Irish-speaking region) in the southwest of Ireland. The first whiskeys distilled and matured at the distillery were released in late 2016. In addition to whiskey, the distillery also produces and markets Dingle vodka and Dingle Gin.
