Don Felix Anejo (named for the Banuelos family patriarch and founder of the distillery) is aged for well over the minimum one year that is required. Don Felix provides the ultimate experience for those who wish to sip and savor a truly unique and special spirit. This limited edition anejo tequila has been created to commemorate the family tradition of tequila making for over 30 years in Arandas, Jalisco.
Don Felix Anejo Tequila Tasting Notes
Nose: The evocative aromas of peach, caramel, cinnamon, cigar box and clover honey are recherche.
Palate: The creamy, medium-weight mouth-feel articulately displays roasted agave in a suave, well-integrated balance of flavors that are oak driven while maintain fresh fruity characteristics.
Finish: The finish is long and harmonious, emphasizing again the roasted agave, but also showing nutmeg, honey and oak in a delicate, saporous fade.
