This Highland single malt was distilled in 2008 at Glen Garioch distillery. After 10 years in a single refill hogshead, this expression was bottled in 2019 by family-run independent bottler Hunter Laing & Co. as part of the First Editions series. Only 406 bottles have been filled at a preferred strength of 46% abv, free from chill filtration and artificial colouring.
The nose has orange, mint and candle wax. The palate is well-developed with notes of toffee, tea and apples, before a long finish with lingering spice and pepper.
