Detailed Description
Fords London Dry Gin comes to us from the Thames Distillers in London with help from Simon Ford of The 86 Co., the chaps behind Aylebury Duck Vodka. For the botanical selection, the distillers cast their net far and wide, using a varied selection from around the world, including Grapefruit Peel from Turkey, Jasmine from China, Angelica from Poland, Lemon Peel from Spain and more, as well as Juniper from Italy.
Fords London Dry Gin Tasting Notes
Nose: An intensely aromatic profile greets you on the nose with classic gin botanicals, particularly juniper.
Palate: Coriander and citrus peel are the highlights with the gin having an earthy backbone and piney juniper flavor. A gentle floral note is found as well.
Finish: The finish has a cinnamon-y bite and a moderate bitter flavor.
