Detailed Description
Four unusual-size bottles of the new Glenmorangie expressions – 10cl, (half the size of a quarter-bottle, or twice the size of a miniature if you prefer – they used to be called ‘double-doubles’). Included is one each of Glenmorangie Original, Lasanta 12 year old, Quinta Ruban 12 year old and Nectar d’Or 12 year old.
Glenmorangie Original 100ml Sweet citrus and floral notes with creamy vanilla and rich malt and orange peel.
Glenmorangie Lasagna 12yr 100ml Sherry and dried fruits with a hint of floral notes and a touch of honey
Glenmorangie The Quinta Ruban 12yr 100ml White chocolate with a floral infusion follwed by citrus notes and rich malt..
Glenmorangie Nectar D’Oro 100ml Mandarin orange and vanilla with hints of cinnamon, all spice and nutmeg.
Distillery Information
The Glenmorangie distillery was established in 1843, on the Dornoch Firth by brothers William and John Matheson. The site originally held a farm distillery under the name Morangie. There is evidence that distillation was carried out at this site during the early 18th century. Production began in November of 1849. During the latter part of the 19th century Glenmorangie began overseas exportation and destinations included Europe and the United States.
