Detailed Description
Orbium contains the same distillates as Hendrick’s Gin, however, the same remarkable mind that broke conventions by infusing gin with essences of cucumber and rose has now taken gin in an altogether new direction by infusing flavours that are traditionally associated with classic gin libations; quinine found in tonic (Gin & Tonic) and wormwood found in Vermouth (Martini Cocktail). But it is not yet quite Orbium.
Hendrick’s Orbium Limited Edition Gin Tasting Notes
Nose: Floral lotus and a woody quinine bitterness balance beautifully against bright juniper and lemon zest.
Palate: Herbaceous coriander, a flash of tart citrus and a helping of that trademark cucumber bring depth and complexity to the prominent sweet floral tones. Bitter bark notes fill the backdrop.
Finish: Earthy wormwood, dried grass and piney juniper bring Orbium to a close.
