Detailed Description
Harper Bourbon is distilled from a mash of 73% corn, 18% rye and 9% barley and aged at the Stitzel-Weller distillery for a minimum of four years in new American oak. As a result, the whiskey has an aroma of shortbread, butterscotch, vanilla and walnuts.

Nose: Aroma of shortbread, butterscotch, vanilla and walnuts.
Palate: Almonds and fruitcake.
Finish: Chocolate, lumber and caramel.

Owned by what is now Diageo between 1992 to 1999 who sold Bernheim Distillery to present owners Heaven Hill. (Diageo also owned another bourbon distillery which carried the Bernheim name until 1980s).
