Detailed Description
This Toomevara 10YO Single Malt is aged in ex-bourbon barrels before entering Calvados casks sourced from the Château du Breuil in Normandy France. This whiskey is the first release of the Generation Trilogy, which commemorates six generations of the Ryan family’s whiskey legacy. Toomevara is a small exclusive release of 3,500 numbered bottles signed by Eunan Ryan. Bottled at 46% ABV this stunning Calvados finish won “Best Single Malt Irish Whiskey” at the 2019 World Spirits Competition, and Double Gold at the 2019 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
Jack Ryan Toomevara 10 Year Single Malt Irish Whiskey Tasting Notes
Nose: Prominent aromas of apples on the nose, followed by sap, cut grass, and orange cream soda, honey, grassy notes, cream, and citrus peel.
Palate: On the palate are unmistakable notes of apple pie, soft cinnamon and citrus peel, followed by fruits, sandalwood.
Finish: The finish is dry, with a hint of yeast and green apples.

Cooley Distillery is an Irish whiskey distillery, located on the Cooley Peninsula in County Louth, Ireland, converted in 1987 from an older potato alcohol plant by John Teeling.
