Detailed Description
This line extension of Pendleton Whisky from Oregon’s Hood River Distillers includes a portion of whisky aged for over six years in American brandy barrels. Once the whiskies are combined, they are blended with glacier fed spring water from Oregon’s highest mountain before bottling. Available in select markets beginning September 2015.
Pendleton Midnight Blended Canadian Whiskey Tasting Notes
Nose: Notes of leather and warm spices.
Palate: Spicy whisky, with black pepper and cinnamon.
Finish: Smooth finish.
Distillery Information
Hood River Distillers was founded in Portland, Oregon, in 1934. In fact, they received the State of Oregon’s first issued distiller’s permit and began making Wine and Brandy based upon the apples, pears, and berries grown locally in the fertile Hood River Valley.
