Detailed Description
The Irishman Single Malt is a triple distilled malt sourced from the Bushmills distillery in County Antrim. A combination of bourbon and sherry casks are used for the maturation and these are carefully selected by Bernard Walsh with each bottling amounting to 1000 cases. This has a light a smooth character with flavours of vanilla, fudge and dried citrus fruits.

Nose: Apricot and mango with orange blossom honey and vanilla.
Palate: More apricot with granola, shortbread biscuits, and fudge.
Finish: Lingering with malt and oak.
Distillery Information
The Walsh Whiskey Distillery at Royal Oak in County Carlow is dedicated to the production of premium handcrafted Irish whiskeys. Located in Ireland’s Ancient East region, it is one of the largest independent whiskey distilleries in the country and the first to be developed in Carlow in over 200 years.
Opened in June 2016, the distillery is the key element in a €25 million investment which positions Walsh Whiskey Distillery as one of the leading craft Irish whiskey producers in this, Irish whiskey’s second golden age.
