The Macallan Amber Liqueur Tasting Notes
Nose: Buttery vanilla, maple syrup, and faintly nutty.
Palate: Lightly sweet with notes of nutty whisky, maple syrup, and vanilla
Finish: Buttery nutty finish, with a noticeable pecan rather than peanut butter, lingering maple and scotch favours.
Distillery Information
The Macallan distillery is a single malt Scotch whisky distillery in Craigellachie, Moray. The Macallan Distillers Ltd, is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Edrington Group which purchased the brand from Highland Distillers in 1999.
