Yamazaki 18 Year Old is an award winning Japanese single malt. Yamazaki’s legendary 18 year old earned a Gold at the 2007 International Spirits Challenge and a Double Gold at the 2005 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. Being one of Suntory’s most popular product.
The Yamazaki 18 Year Old Single Malt Whisky Tasting Notes
Nose: Truffles, thick bitter marmalade and resin. Potpourri and heavy Oloroso sherry.
Palate: A rich, bittersweet palate with heather roots, cigar leaves, honey, toffee apples, plum wine and black pepper.
Finish: Long, fruity, marmalade-led finish.

The Yamazaki Distillery is Japan’s first and oldest malt whisky distillery established in 1923 by Suntory’s founder Shinjiro Torii.
