Triple distilled Single Malt whiskey that has been patiently aged in ex Bourbon casks for up to 18 years and then has been finished in 4 different cask types being old Oloroso ex-Sherry Butts, Ex-Port Pipes and ex Madeira Drums casks for at least 6 months.
Tullamore DEW 18 Year Old Single Malt Irish Whiskey Tasting Notes
Nose: Rich and oaky with deep malty notes, caramelised fruit and woody spice.
Palate: Velvety smooth and mellow vanilla oak notes intertwined with cinnamon, baked apple, toasted marshmallows and biscuit sweetness.
Finish: Rich and warming with a lingering malty sweetness.
Distillery Information
After 60 years of waiting in September 2014 Tullamore D.E.W. resumed production in its ancestral home of Tullamore, Co Offaly. Our new state-of-art distillery will ensure the legacy of our legendary whiskey will live on in the heart of Ireland for the foreseeable future.
